In this study, simple morphological and structural evolutions of two-dimensional hexagonal nanoplatelets were investigated. XRD analysis SnO2 SnO2:Y has revealed a tetragonal structure photoluminescence spectra exhibited visible emission broadband peak around 464 nm 528 nm. The (7 wt.%) confirm the increased charge separation, which inhibits electron–hole recombination. Raman validated presence oxygen vacancies in nanoplatelets. It been shown that perform better photocatalytic degradation than conventional spherical nanoparticles. EIS measurements performed to investigate carrier movement Our study is first illustrate morphology their application as material.
